Hi Ray - Dizard is a columnist and not an FT employee, so for some reason the FT site makes his stuff hard to find.

IF you go to the advanced search, that sometimes helps. His column is called "Strategies" by the way , there is another columnist who also has a column called "Strategies"

I'll see if I can find soem urls.

John Dizard on FT - Go to FT.com, then on the left side ,
hit "Comment & Analysis", let the new page laod.
Then on the left side there 's a sort of expanded menu -
hit Columnists.

Then towards the bottom of the new page look undr "Specialist Columnists" and you'll find John Dizard.

John also worked in the oil patch is some capacity at one time...

P.S. He does not look as goofy as his photograph....
