Dont be an apologist for liars. At first, many defended Nixon for Watergate too, but this is much more important sin. Bottomline, Saddam was no threat to us, and they said he was a huge one. So why did we need to go to war right away? Why couldn't we wait three weeks to get UN peacekeepers for post-war? Any reason? Just look at the mess we're in now in Iraq. No idea how to quell the place. Our troops getting shot in the back left and right. No reason for the whole thing except Bushie obsession. Lying should not be a confusing issue.
