The Bin Lauden [sic] family was in Boston on 9-11.

First of all, Bin Laden has 53 siblings. That's a lot of people, and that's if we were only talking about siblings. What do you think the number swells to when considering nieces, nephews, inlaws, cousins...the whole "Bin Laden family," as it were?

abcnews.go.com

To say that "the Bin [Laden] family was in Boston on 9/11" is simply another fabrication. Two have business dealings in, and reside in/near, Boston.

newsday.com

They were whisked out of the country with the cooperation of the FBI.

Yes, that has been discussed. I'd imagine that something a foreign government requests of us is done, if it's done, with "cooperation."

And - as I asked previously, and you chose not to answer: what does that prove or, for that matter, disprove?

Make what you want out of it.

I'm not making anything out of it; that's the point.

You, on the other hand, are making overtures of a Bin Laden-Bush Family connection and alluding, it seems, to some conspiracy.

Bush Sr. and Bin Lauden's [sic] kind...

Bin Laden's "kind"? What are you talking about?

...enjoyed business relationships through the Carlyle Group at last up until 9-11.

I'm only aware of one business relationship; moreover, one business relationship that was terminated before 9/11, and furthermore didn't involve Osama Bin Laden.

abcnews.go.com

Even so, that is unsurprising, not the least of which because - as previously mentioned - the Bin Ladens are an immense and fabulously wealthy family; a family which has, either in word or deed, apparently disowned their fundamentalist son.

And, casting all this aside: are you aware of some of the pre-WWII dealings certain U.S. industrialists had with certain up-and-coming dictators? Did that, too, betray a conspiratorial plot, or was it just the interconnected nature of the world until greater political and economic forces brought them into more particular (which is to say, opposing) alignment(s)?

GW Bush is also reportedly paid something by Carlyle. But they're a private company so you can't check it. Fact.

Where is it "reported" that still Bush is paid by Carlyle? Not that I'm inclined against believing that, anyway, but would prefer to add: so?

Does trailing compensation...let alone a company not being public...necessarily imply something off kilter? Let alone...conspiratorial?

Some say...

Who are these "some"?

...Guliani [sic] turned down the 10 million dollar check from the Saudi prince for specific reasons.

Well, I certainly don't think he did it for "general" or "nonspecific" reasons.

He and the Bin Lauden [sic] type rich families are known to have supported Al Qaida, either willingly or through blackmail.

Certainly, that has been reported.

Reportedly the FBi [sic] was called off investigating this after Bush took office.

And this was "[r]eported" where, and by whom?

The real problem with the Bush-bin Laden connections is it's a lot easier to connect the dots between the close family ties to the current administration than it is to connect Osama to 9/11. The real question is why, with 3000 Americans dead, family members of the accused get the red carpet treatment. I mean, it hardly strikes me as a high priority to devote law enforcement resources to getting his kin to safety at a time when we were already up to our ears in alligators. Plus, if Osama is such a bad fellow, it sort of makes a person wonder why his family is handed such wonderful investment opportunities in America. Wouldn't it make more sense to black ball anyone related to him in order to put pressure on him? And why would anyone give a rip if there was some kind of retaliation against his family while everyone was busy scooping up the body parts of Americans in New York?

Of course if Osama didn't have anything to do with 9/11, the administration might feel a certain responsibility to the bin Laden family after falsely accusing their brother of something they already knew he wasn't connected with. The real issue is that nearly 2 years after the fact, the only connection between bin Laden and 9/11 is unsubstantiated and outright fabricated accusations by George W. Bush.

The simple fact of the matter is the hijackers were using false identification, and if you can't establish an identification, it's impossible to establish who they worked for.

From an article on the December 01 tape:

<<<But many people in the Arab world claimed the tape was doctored.>>>

Interesting commentary here:

And of course, one of my favorites, showing a side by side of the real bin Laden and a Bush version.

Maybe that's why Bush treats the bin Laden family so well. Their brother always sends him home movies when, politically, he needs them the most. Who needs Ari when Osama does such wonderful PR work for GWB?
