I don't need the $200 tax cut as much as I need a thriving economy. Also the stock market crashed after Bush was in office and after he enacted the capital gains tax cuts. That made it possible for those holding a lot of gains in the market to cash out cheaper and they took it. It was just another favor from Bush to his rich buddies. After the big cash out the rest of the market panicked and bolted. Plus some corporate earnings scandals. Big business using questionable accounting practices to artificially grow earnings.

Bush is going out to pasture in 2004. A one termer just like his dad.
