I was unable to find a cost breakdown in regards to Boeing and who was maintaining the tankers in question. There of I could not quite understand if it was more beneficial to have this set up as a lease or a direct purchase Please do laugh as I try to read all I can so once I form a belief I can usually back it up. Public Citizen is helping to lead a major push to reduce corporate welfare. >> In my opinion the push should be to reduce the size of the budget that the government can spend. If you restrict government expenditures that will restrict networking as now you operating on a base of fixed funds that must seek product quality for price. Part of the problem lies in the law that is obscure, clear laws that a fifth grader can understand sure as heavens should be easy enough for us to follow. The idea is the less wording might prevent less contortion of for self benefit. We don't need more laws and increased costs associated with the administration of said. Most laws that attempt to right a wrong end up creating another wrong. SEC would most assuredly state simplicity works the best. The sad truth of this push is that successful Corporate America to reduce costs have moved elsewhere. To me PC funds are being wasted in the wrong direction just like governments. The why of it has to do with inflation. Inflation comes from dollars created by increase in government debt for the cost of maintaining self. This is the largest cause of inflation as these dollars must be paid for with equal dollars that stream from the public into the government. Wages must go up to support government and fiat must be printed to do so. The result ends up looking like we the parents who are Public Citizens created this Government and have utterly no control over the spending habits of the spoiled child we gave birth to. We then enter into your thoughts which is too powerful a government ends up with powerless people. The Government then is defunct. Solutions lies in the push to restructure the core. The only way i know how to do that is government must be accountable in dollars to we who provide for her.
