The attempt failed. Not everything will be accomplished perfectly. C'est la guerre.

The Israelis always come off as heavy handed whether blowing up a car on a street with collateral damage or bulldozing of homes with a 99 year old women inside. We know that these things are done to avoid massive civilian casualties, not to cause them, but the BEEB or the EUROS and the rest of them dont see it that way. So Rantsini sits in his hospital bed holding court to all who will listen to his venom and I keep thinking of Jason Bourne(ludlum character) and an imaginitive fitting end for the Pediatrician. Sharon won't have to lose face for losing the settlements, he can blame Dubya. And Abbas won't have to lose face when Hamas, Hezbollah, et al., are wiped out, either.

No, they can keep their face, and what does it matter that a lot of innocent bystanders will be killed?

Same with Saddam. Go out like a man. Dignity above all.
