Dumb question time: do those securities that split up stocks into a dividend-only piece and a cap gains-only piece still exist? Can't even remember what they were called. PRIMES and SCORES or something like that?

I can't believe I haven't already sought them out, but that's exactly what you want in order to short without paying out the fricking divvies...

If you trade the bond futures, do they track the coupons as they accrue?
