I just ran over a pedestrian. I swear, I haven't seen any sign on the street. The pedestrian shows no short term effects. In the long term he might be dead but ain't we all?

Ah, she said.

"Obviously Freddie stock got hit, but the securities which would affect homebuyers seem to still be very liquid and we know the housing market is still very strong and there are lots of alternatives out there for homeowners to go to. I haven't seen any sign that there will be a short-run impact and we'll just have to wait and see what happens long-term," Bies said.

Excellent... ZB sure dumped now.

the curve behaves a bit odd, MMs steepening slightly today - between Sep 03 and Sep 04 . Interesting.

How to blow a trade. I found the EUR weak in mid-session. So well I shorted a few but quickly abandoned the position and yes, it spiked a little. Nailing there a few did the job nicely and watch it undoing that little spike - it often does those bloodless 10bp moves now - and then it listlessly traded sideways, usually a well known pattern. Out of boredom, I took the profit, so what.

Then I stepped on teh buyish stocks and weak treasuries and well, that is usually a recipe for a little eur shake (not for the pound today). Looking at it, well, doesn't move etc... I did nothing. A minute later or so it begins its dip trip (it is some 16 pips off in 5 minutes).
