Plus there are a lot of other countries defying resolutions. Why this country? Because it was conveniently defenseless? A symbolic poke in the eye to the ME. Sometimes a show of power, is anything but a show of power- in this case we exhibited our weak underbelly- our foolishness, and our inability to lead the rest of the world. We have military power in the US, without wisdom- never a very good combination.

The statement was in response to an exculpatory statement re. Iraq not disclosing evidence re. prohibited weapons:

Expecting a sovereign nation to fully disclose everything is ridiculous.
