Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza are two of my fave destinations down there:-) (But that's just me<g>) There's a restaurant named Bistango, which is also kinda cool. (It's off MacArthur in the area opposite the airport). Jane will have to give you the night life/hipper recommendations:-)

OT/Hi Donnie....! I live in north San Diego county and usually just drive through or fly over Irvine. However, in Orange County and nearby Irvine, I grew up in Newport Beach just a 1/2 block from the beach (42nd Street). There are a bunch of great restaurants along the harbour there. Laguna Beach is always happening and the Ritz Carleton nearby is a great place. South Coast Plaza for shopping, I guess. Anyways, I dont do Orange County much any more except to visit mom and dad. I thought you were alittle quiet on SI lately....beautiful girls will do that you know. Have fun! Jane
