BTW, interesting that Jan 2006 leaps are now available. A long time for some stocks that are still pretty cheap in a few instances.

I'm thinking in particular about Calpine, with significant natural gas resources and many plants coming on stream in the next 12 months.

BP,

I don't have the stomach for trading long term options. I don't even look at them. I'm just not tuned into long term anything. I could do much better in my IRA if I could switch it back and forth between the Rydex funds, but I don't seem to get myself to do that. I need to work on this because it's really my weakness.

Why don't you post your LT options observations here? It would probably benefit many of us. Thanks.
