The crash began in March 2002, well before Bush took office just as I said. You ought to take your head out of your butt before you post...

I used to think you were intelligent but I might have to revise my opinion. I think that Bush took the oath Jan 2001. But the crash we're still trying to recover from happened in 2002 a year after he took office. Those are the facts. Also you didn't comment on the rise of the Dow from under 4,000 to topping 11,000 while Clinton was President. I have been a republican all my adult life and I did vote for Bush. But I like the truth more than the party and I can't stand this Republican Party idiocy that seems to turn you all into mindless drones for Bush. His policies are changing America in very very bad ways and you mindless drones don't even see it.

Here's the chart link again. When you look at it hold a straight edge up to the screen to see more accurately when the tops and bottoms occurred. The years are at the bottom, that might help you.
