No. I did some work back when DHI was trading at $18. Went back thru SEC filings. Matched Prices to earnings. Adjusted earnings for splits. Average PE over 10 year period was 7. Using monthly closing prices. And carrying PE forward each quarter. Tested the same for a few others.

Bill you could very well be right about the election cycle and that housing is the only thing keeping the economy going. So like anything, picking the right moment to short the homebuilders may simply be luck.
