BTW do you know why so many russian Jews have a name that is a derivative of Kogan or Kogon? It is safe to assume your ignorance so I'll tell you - those are the descendants from the priests and recent genetic tests confirmed that. Having said that I want to add that if Ashkenazy would indeed be descendants of Khazars (and they are not) they would still have the same rights for Israel.
