Sid I understand your cap gains argument and it makes sense. But honestly.... I always thought it was abundantly clear to anyone who has lived through this bear(especially trading) that things like CapEx spending cuts, A tech pyramid, and basic overvaluation due to an huge demand for stocks by average Joe six pack investors had more to do with this bear market than any cap gains cuts
