No doubt that's the Repubs strongest card. They'll play it to the hilt. Dems need a counter it for sure but I'd open a two front war.

Their policy and appointment legacy speaks very comprehensively about their intent....which contrasts very sharply with what they espouse on the 'stump'. Dean's got the right idea but I'd like to see more killer instinct. Frigging people need a HOT fire under them to pay attention then vote.

Heard Ralph Bloch (Chief Market Technician, Raymond James & Associates,Inc) on CNBC. Earlier, he called for the current big rally. He's now out of the market. It's the risk/reward. From his perspective there may be a little more upside, but not that much. He cited the 16% number for the market bears and a previous fall of 2000 points from the 9500 Dow level.

Momentum can carry the market a long way, but eventually something besides just more momentum is needed.
