You keep saying that - but it doesn't make it so.

The erosion of civil liberties and privacy rights, and the encroachment of an ever-larger, ever more powerful, ever more intrusive federal government is a gradual thing, but the 9-11 aftermath speeded it up considerably....

(You are aware, no doubt, that the "Patriot Act" was penned long before 9-11 ever happened. It was just sitting on some bureaucrat's shelf waiting for an opportunity to be rushed through.)

It's a 'slippery slope'... once freedoms are ceded, they almost never come back.

If you choose not to see what is in front of us... if you choose to not standup for what our founding fathers fought and died for - well, that's your choice.
