<<For those of you who still think the UN is the way to go.>>
An apt description. Would not want to send an original thinker to be an ambassador,. he might actually develop one of those things called an idea or a solution. All countries leaders have enough problems at home, do not want to have an underling adding to the difficulties. Need a parrot to keep presenting your oun pre-set homeland ideas in various tongues.Stay away from commitments that might require action. Avoid unpleasant news for the boss.
Pretty hopeless, isn't it?
An old saying -there is the Boeing way, and the right way. Same for the UN.
It appears that a Coalition is the best way known to go when circumstances require action.
But its is too early in the morning for those who have danced all night to work out the details of how they would be formed to avoid contension.
