Glad you came out with a profit dealie. Did anybody see People Magazine this week? There is a major article about a guy who almost died from lyme disease--he was in the hospital on his deathbed misdiagnosed with ALS (lou gehrig's). Then he got properly diagnosed and has been on antibiotics for 14 months. They are right in that article--its really serious and spreading. I have been so sick the last 3 years one could not imagine. It has been a true nightmare! But I am feeling hopeful. Because the one thing that helped me was hyperbaric oxygen treatments but I had to go away to a clinic and it cost $200/session and I had to do it for 2 months and though it helped it eventually wore off and the bacteria came back full force. But this week I tried a portable hyperbaric chamber that you can buy for your home. I did 2 sessions and it helped so much. I think my life is surreal that I will have this portable chamber in my home (they are expensive, too!) but I don'[t really care, all I care about is that it helps me. In fact, it has helped many--people with stroke, lyme, cerebral palsy, woundcare, plastic surgery healing, everything you can imagine. I sat in the chamber with one of the staff members, she even brought her cellphone in. It was very pleasant and I felt so much better after 2 treatments as if life had been breathed back into my body! I know this is off topic but because I'm very active in the lyme community now I always want to keep people aware. I was "aware" when I travelled to Connecticut for a visit and brought it up ahead of time but I was not informed of the risks around there sufficiently and besides, it seems some poeple just take it lightly. But it can disable and killand it is spreading. They have found it in all states now. In addidtion, people who think they have other ailments turn out to have lyme. I have heard so many stories of someone thinking they had some arthritis, or migraines, or all kinds of odd health problems in their families, and it turned out to be lyme. I know of one woman who figured out that her lifelong health ailments were lyme and then got supsicious and got her whole family tested including her father who has had multiple sclerosis for 27 years, and her two kids, and her sister and mother. All seven in the family came back sky high lyme titers. Her father never had MS, always had lyme. I hear these stories all the time. There is hope! But it needs to be taken seriously especially in the summer months! Remember, health is real wealth! It is really so true!
