People often fail to realize that the protection of free speech is a protection from the government, not from moderators of threads in a private venue. Free speech does not apply to the RWET, or to any other thread on SI that is moderated. Oddly enough people don't get this. I don't want the government telling me or you what we can or cannot say- but it would be equally horrible if you HAD to talk to everyone. shudder

Hi tsiprofit, Kudos to you for the banning. From my experience, one especially has always been a problem for peace loving liberals. He comes on in a subtle manner wearing sheep clothing, but only to bait, and not even very intelligently .. He might say "debate". But "bait" is what he means, a thing only suckers take and understand... <g>. Ther are no suckers here as you know... Not like the fifty percent or so that took and swallowed the bait of cheney, gw, cp cr pw, etal that they threw out to chum the apathetic and ignorant. Keep up the good work.. m
