I regard that as an admission his argument is flawed. In fact, the poor do end up with more money. And, in fact, if we are to have a flexible adjustable economic system, then the authors argument (that the higher incomes will outstrip the lower in good times) will prove to be the case. TP simply seems to be a bitter, envious failure who can't stand the fact that someone is better off than he.
