Just because a bunch of people get together does not mean that they are a legitimate nation deserving of nationhood. Were that the case anyone living in New York City could call themselves a nationist entity. Or all people of a particular religion could claim their own nationhood and demand that other people move out or subject themselves to their authority. And were that the case, then we have to ask why the Saudis are able to rule over the Shiites Arabs in Eastern Arabia? Why the minority Alawites are able to rule over the majority Sunnis in Syria? And then we have to ask why the Palestinians are deserving of a nation/state, but no one feels the same "drive" to do the same for the Kurds, the LARGEST ethnic entity without there own state. If there are no Palestinians, then Israel must not be occupying their land. Actually, Israel is occupying Jordanian land captured during the war of 1967 after Jordan attacked Israel.. But Jordan renounced ownership of the West Bank in 1989, so it's technically in geographical limbo. So you see, if anything they are Jordanians living in an area that has been abandoned by their King Yet, they have not been permitted the right to relocate within Jordan, either. It's not for you to see. The Palestinians should make their own mistakes about what "freedom" really means on their own. Even if that means that Israel is required to invade and occupy them again because of their terrorist attacks against Israelis? Because that's effectively what has been going on since the Palestinian Authority was created.. IT's a legitimate government.. And a government that has been carrying on a war with Israel and providing aid and comfort to groups that seeks Israel's complete destruction. Being a state has responsibilities. And waging attacks on your neighbors is the surest way to get yourself invaded again until you learn your lesson and agree to just get along. It shouldn't be up to US blood to force people who don't want to be "free" to be "free". Good thing the French didn't see it your way, or the American revolution would probably have been crushed. Or have you forgotten Monsieur Lafayette? But of course, you're now contradicting youself because you think everyone's utmost desire is to be free... But now they don't want to be free.. Something tells me you'll just say anything so that you don't have to agree with me. I think everyone wants to be free too, but generally it's only when they haven't been brainwashed into militant suicidal fanatics, or repressed by regimes who lock them up or shoot them the minute they voice an opposing political viewpoint.
