<<Is it better for the terrorist groups to be destroyed now....or later when they have more
dangerous weapon >>

Thats a neat summary..
One could ask why is the US involved now, when there many more Africans fighting or dying or starving?
Its a matter of timing and applying our limited resources in the goals to eliminate Terrorism
Africa is not a threat to world peace, and the Terrorists there are not organized or easily identifiable
In the Israel/Pal conflict we did not start it, it is a threat to peace in the entire region, the timing is right as it is in the worlds news and eyes, and the next step is very clear as the conflict is presently confined to Israel versus the Hamas. And if the Hamas had a more terrible weapon they would use it.
The roadmap has done one important thing, it showed just who is standing in the way to peace in the region. Arafat and other Arabs have funded, armed, and encouraged the group in the past . If he goes back to doing that, then he is the blockage on the road and will be removed.
