EC, You forgot to throw in disease & pestilence if you DO make it to Dawson!<G> BTW, have you read John McPhee's "Annals of the Former World"? It's a compilation of his travels across the US, with different geologist, on I-80, which goes through the Basin & Range. Love the way this guy writes. Others he's written; "Coming into the Country" (1st half is about Alaskan politics, 2nd half...he spent a year in Eagle, AK and writes about the characters there). "The Deltoid Pumkin Seed" (about guy trying to make motorized hang gliders). "Oranges" (real interesting book {since I was born & raised in Florida} about how the orange made it over here. And about the Indian River Fruit {citris} co-op. I spent my last 4 years in Indian River County...there really is a difference). This guy could make fly $hit interesting...& no, I'm not his publisher.<G> Bill/WA
