it almost sounds like the deferred tax revenues from ira's will act like an annuity for the gov....albeit at lower rates.

I also found the article interesting. It would seem that this is a deferred tax to be offset against new liabilities for social security (since the SSTF represents nothing but IOUs from Government T-Bills.

So be sure that the government will find a way to spend any extra amount they receive... :0)

After all, it's THEIR money, right... (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).
