"Solon, in your cosmology how do you understand the
life-force?
"

Not very well... :-)

Ultimately the universe is positive and negative charges expressing in myriad unstable forms in constant flux. Spinoza would say that all is God and that all is perfect. In Hinduism we have Brahman who is at once all things and ONE thing.

One observes the manner in which all matter comes together to create new forms over and over again: bodies returning to the earth and new life flourishing in accordance with the "information" carried in tiny cells.

It would be a very egoistic person indeed who could believe that any one form could have more duration than the underlying energy, information, and structure which lends it temporary stability.

Expressions are like the words of Echo who ultimately became only a voice. We are expressions of the underlying energy and information which informs all matter. Some call everything Brahman. Spinoza called everything God. Some know that they are Nature.

The universe will remember nothing of Solon. My brain will lose its charge; my memories and ideas will leak away into the vast ocean. But I helped the universe express itself for the blink of an eye. I was part of the life force. I helped the Cosmos dance... ;-)
