How come instead of being pissed off that the intelligence was so far off, that Bush is now back pedaling and changing the thrust of his speeches to say "We know that Saddam had a weapons program, instead of "Weapons of Mass destruction"?

Most likely he was in on the deception from the beginning.

Because if I were the president and my intelligence told me about nukes, BW and CW by the tons and mega liters and I launched an attack against the country because of it, I would be handing out pink slips big time.

Bush is the one that ought to be calling for an investigation of the intelligence gathering. The intelligence was so far off it cannot be relied on going forward.

Instead he changes his tune to fit the new reality. Makes it look more and more like he was complicit with deception.

PRO,

It's one thing to discuss and even acknowledge intelligence reports, which in 1998 may have been more accurate than 2003.

It's an entirely different matter to trumpet the intelligence reports, possibly while even knowing that they were not conclusive, and then act on those reports by invading another country.

I think we all agree that Saddam needed to be dealt with. The Bush administration simply threw out any evidence that did not support their plan...attacking Iraq. The evidence that went contrary and did not support a war was left out of all his speeches.

It's clear that he had an adgenda, then crafted the intelligence to sell it.

The anthrax that was used in the mailings of anthrax was discovered to have been made in the USA by the military. The FBI found this out and then their investigation went cold. It's a hoax on the American people to bring about more changes that take us closer to a New World Order. They are changing America and we are letting them because they are trying to scare us into letting them.

There were no WMD, another hoax.
