On the natural gas market, you might be interested to know that the US imports natural gas from Canada, Mexico, Algeria, Australia, and the UAR, and exports natural gas to Canada, Mexico, and Japan.

Asia is generally more dependent on natural gas as an energy source, due to pollution problems, than most of the U.S. excluding Iowa <ggg>. But generally speaking, natural gas is sold on the international market similarly to other commodities.
