Hello Jay, Echoing your grim forecasts are the following figures which I just saw in an article lifted from the Christian Science Monitor. In the post-war epoch, until recently, the % of U.S. disposable income which was saved occasionally reached 10% but it was mostly around 7-8 %. Recently it has been sinking.For 2002 it was 3.7%. Ouch!! Can anything but disaster lie ahead? Especially with the wise leadership of President Bush. Gold,oil,natural gas all look great! Malcolm
