Supreme Court nominees.

I am beginning to think we will go this year without a resignation. Everyone on the Court knows just how big the battle will be. They all seem to be in good health, which is more important than age these days. Why quit if they are enjoying it?

My hope is that is stays the way it is until after the next election. Then I think the Repubs will have 60 and no problem. Bush will not compromise on a candidate at the moment. I think, if one resigns, he will nominate who he wants, take the fight, and use it in the 04 election. This could backfire if he goes with the wrong candidate.
