Deep! As in well-read, well-traveled .....

..... broad variety of friends (other than neo-cons and drinking buddies). It is my understanding that Bush, despite vast resources and time, visited Europe once at most prior to having taken the highest office in the land. He is uncultured. His holding this majestic office trivializes it and reflects badly on the populace.

I am sickened by nepotism in this country. Pedestrian characters like Bush getting into Yale, Rehnquist's daughter getting a high position in government, Andrea Koppel at CNN. The oligarchy in this country is weakening the fabric of what was once a great land. It's probably pretty much the same in many other countries. I just hate to see leadership in this country becoming so lame.
