Sullivan gives a lot of credit for France and Germany to accomplish his fears....

I doubt it gets this serious... Eastern Europe can be tied with United States not just military but economic.. We can move our industries, out source services to these countries to build them up and reduce private companies costs. We can relocate government spending from Germany, France to these countries..
I think France and Germany, together with the Benelux countries need to be more concerned about being isolated if they continue in their aggressive ways. It is quite possible to see a complete different alliance with United States for the other countries. France , German are a small part of the economic world when we think of China, Japan, Russia, Arab states, etc.
