I cannot believe you guys are all Mets fans. It's going to take the new GM quite a while to fix things, if ever. The hardest part is that because of Shea Stadium, the only way to build a winning team there is to get great pitching and speed, because like at Chavez Ravine, Shea isn't conducive to big power players. The tough part is having to overpay for good players, who know their numbers will be down, and get reluctant to sign there. I don't see an out for them for a looooong time.
