Thanks for the link to Hawkings site. I have not been able to find A Brief History of Time yet. I have it here somewhere. When I find it I will tell you where to read. Basically he says that the universe could not have happened by chance. It had to be ordered by an intelligent creator with the power to set it all in motion. he made an example that sticks with me. That is that the universe by observation can be seen to go from order to disorder. Never the opposite. Everything tends to break down over time, not become things better than they were. Nothing is evolving, it is all devolving. That shows that the universe could not have happened by chance and ordered itself. It's not in the nature of the universe to do so.
