Poppy market-prices have been declining ever since after the latest afghanistan war in scandinavia, just like after the earlier wars. The NATO-believers claim it is only a factor of the release of old surplus taliban-inventories, others point to a more complex system of non-symmetric markets, both political, producers, consumers and free traders. Funny, although very tragic stuff, especially considering the Pakistani economy too. Clearly too complex for any frustrated Ayn-Rand-libertarian or neo-conservative, except maybe for those in need of more grass, smoke and high priced cocain??
