LOl ! Did some opinion poll tell kerry what to do ? Must have. He's 'my' senator, and the guy has never had an origanl thought in all his born days. For years he's been telling his Boston constituents that he's irish; turns out he's predominiatly Jewish. He's a political gadfly in the Gore tradition. That is he's never really had a hometown, doesn't know what a sense of 'place' means, so he leaves no tracks anywhere. Just as al gore grew up in Wash DC, Kerry grew up in posh boarding schools in europe and new hampshire. Always on the go. So he has no foundation, really. Just the polls. And his very rich ketchup wife.
