There is something to be said for remaining open,
and not allowing yourself to become too set in your
ways, though...

I find much of the popular culture today very interesting,
from music to TV, but maybe I am an exception... :--)

That is possible, but I seriously doubt it.
For some strange reason, many adult Americans "wear" their immaturity like a badge of honor! I suppose it has something to do with the vain effort of always wanting to appear "cool" 24/7...
