Choice operates on many levels, but the choice I was referring to transcends the purely intellectual. It is a soul choice.
As far as relationship goes, I don't get angry or annoyed and I don't worry. I've also never felt closer to God. The deeper one goes the wider it gets. Most recently I've done a lot of meditating on the paradox of divine immutability and believe I appreciate how this flows naturally from the conscious creation and experience of timelike constructs mapped to the underlying divine continuum.

Out of interest, what forms of meditation do you do.

..how you prevent yourself from feeling that somehow you have attained something deeper than the average person. How do you stop that possibly subtle feeling of ego from materializing and consequently hindering your future meditative experiences....or has that already happened in your case because it can very easily as a suble ego arises.

Sometimes I believe that I am now just accepting of whatever comes my way...and just trust "Nature" or "God" as if one is just an actor in a Grand Play. Trying this method but noticing that I might be fooling myself into thinking that I have accepted it. Only when tested does one realize that this is not so easy either.
