Thanks so much for your reply MSI, but there was one bit of information that I now realize was a glaring omission in my original post.........it is river front property. I have already inquired with the county health dept about installing a legal septic system. They have a document that shows there was a request last month by the owner for permission to install a legal system........it was flatly denied.

Maybe this should go to PM?
