marc,
"at some point we could at least use one of those 4%-7% health restoring corrections to keep this running a long time." Agreed. But... This is why in bull trends markets can stay way over bought for longer than most realize. There's a ton of bear market money, who missed this rally, hoping to get in on a pullback. There's a ton of money slowly being added from people who weren't necessarily bears but who divested from equities due to the down turn. And with the price rise of equities they become more desirable, go figure, so new money is coming in from those that believe the bear is dead. Add to this the paltry interest rate returns, significant fiscal and monetary stimulus, economic improvement in 1q 04, and its off to the races. Imo, sentiment should be properly extremely bullish now, and the lack of a 4%-7% health restoring correction, which all of us savvy investors know is coming<g>, may actually take longer than we think to come because we're either all expecting it or hoping for it in order to get on the new band wagon.
