I think it changed the attitudes of many, if not most, of us...but instead of "increased anti Muslim attitudes", I believe it changed our attitudes to anti-fundamentalist Islam.... I know I want the general Muslim population to come down hard openly against the fundamentalist groups....So far though, too many have been silent or not vocal enough. Mad as hell at what? Terrorism? So am I. I've posted that Al-Qaeda should be considered as a Mafia type of organized crime and treated as such. What has happened, increased anti Muslim attitudes.
