The Cove Point LNG terminal has a send out capacity of 1BCF/d, and that's coming next month.

The energy bill's effect on the os stocks might shift some emphasis to the offshore sector, since a big part of that bill will open up previously unexplored offshore areas.

I have wondered if VRC, VTS recent run was contingent on this development. The other side is that this might change the fortunes of the onshore drillers as well.

I can imagine a deal where ANWR is rejected and the compromise is that the eastern gulf and parts of the atlantic are opened. Just thinking out loud.
