NC,
It is because they have their model on how the world should look. The "liberal" model is essentially inflexible and reactionary. Whatever happens they tailor their responses to fit the model. God could come down from the heavens and call Bush his son, and the Liberals will say that Bush deliberately deceived the electorate by claiming that he was the son of a former President or they will say that Barbara Bush was sleeping around on the ex pres. Mike
PS There are some hard right guys like Delay who fit this same profile--Remember clinton couldnt do anything right and he killed vince foster. Of course we know now that Hillary pulled the trigger. <ggg>

Yes, it is interesting to note all of those who opposed the war who are still looking for things to say against it, and who are waiting hopefully for disaster to prove them right.

Just politics, NC. Our economy is now so huge that we can run a liberation like Iraq on the same noise level and immediate effect on us that going after Chinese Gordon in Egypt had for the Brits. Great theatre, and something to holler about. The left is just pissed at how well Bush is doing. If nothing major happens, he will steamroller the Dems next year. No wonder they scream here and in the media.
