18:04 ET SEMI book-to-bill ratio falls to 0.89 : The semiconductor capital equipment book-to-bill ratio for May came in at 0.89, slightly below a revised b-to-b ratio for April of 0.90 and Fulcrum's estimate of 0.91. The worldwide bookings figure of $751 mln is 1% below the revised April level of $757 mln. Fahnestock & Co. Inc., who still expects b-to-b to be "relatively flat" and the industry's YoY growth to decline to approx 35-40%, had an estimate of 0.89. The release date for June's book-to-bill has been tentatively scheduled for July 18th.
