You don't need all of the factors but you need a selection from the list. Another thing to the list add is foreign support. the Palestinian terrorists has borders/foreign havens, foreign support, determination, and support of the local population. They also have decent numbers for such a small areas when you consider the combination of the "Martyr Brigades", Hammas, Hizbollah, Islamic Jihad, ect. They have pretty much everything but rough terrain and they can use urban terrain for that since they have the support of the local population. That's why Israel despite its overwhelming advantage in military power hasn't been able to wipe out the terrorists. Which doesn't mean that they shouldn't use their military power. It only gets worse if you don't fight back. But it probably isn't going to be a permanent answer all by itself. Tim
