the reforms which could have headed off the entire financial bubble... if they had only been in place. I'd call that a real stretch. That was hardly the first roaring bull market and numerous ones happened when accounting standards were tighter than they were in the Roaring '90s. You can get a Big Bad Bull when the earnings are REAL. All it takes is public belief that "it's different this time" and the the money will just keep flowing in. don't bleed for Ebbers Ebbers? Ebbers should be doing life + 250 years.
