AJ: I am not fighting it here. Have not been for 150 points. I have been trading it short just as you have been trading it long while maintaing my core shorts. There is so much overlap here there is no problem making money short.

You let me know when mo-mo is over. You know what happens when it ends. Trend is your friend until it ends and in this kind of market it can end suddenly and with no exit time for those playing the mo-mo game.

Saw a strategist with Nasdaq target of 2500 on CNBC today. Subod Kumar of CIBC; also has Dow 12500 for year end.
I believe these forecasts were made last year. The others mentioned seem to have their targets either reached already or getting pretty close (mostly DOW 9000 to 10000 predictions).

Kumar's prediction are so far fetched to most people.....and remember these predictions were made at the end of last year when they were probably thought to be even more insane.

I am starting to think this call may be realistic given what is happening to the bond market as well as the fact that money is now very cheap. Hardly anyone believes such targets can be reached...even the bullish crowd would laugh. Just remember that Kumar is a strategist at a well known brokerage...that is something to think about.
