Yes, that is doubtful. Of course, the intelligence in support of the war effort has been remarkably solid, which supports the idea that the intelligence leading up to the war was also solid. If there were making it all up, wouldn't we find that there was a Pollyanna glow to all "facts" submitted? Instead, Iraq collapsed much as expected. That is not to say that there were no surprises, but overall, the record was good. As compared to the naysayers, I have ample reason to give the Administration the benefit of the doubt at this point......
