Post-war Iraq has turned into a hopeless mess. What we need are 150,000 UN peacekeepers so our guys can go home and quit getting wasted. But Bush's rush to war made that impossible. Our troops might as well be sacrificial lambs for Big Oil at this point. Despite all the Bushie ra-ra cheerleading and Bush being landed on an aircraft carrier by an expert pilot posing in a flight suit (though he went AWOl from Air Guard service) this is no victory. Our troops deserve credit but look at the thanks Bush is giving them. Setting them up to be taken out by snipers and terrorists. All of this could have been avoided.
