>>Street Talk: 3M, GE, Honeywell

Lehman Bros. raises 12-month price target on the Dow stocks; Prudential raises 2004 EPS on Cisco.
June 18, 2003: 8:34 AM EDT

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Three conglomerates that trade on the Dow looked to be active when trading gets underway Wednesday after Lehman Bros. raised its one-year price target on the firms. In addition, Prudential raised its 2004 earnings-per-share forecast on Cisco Systems.

Lehman Bros. raised its 12-month price target on three Dow members. 3M's (MMM: Research, Estimates) target goes to $140 from $135, Honeywell International's (HON: Research, Estimates) target goes to $30 from $25, and General Electric's (GE: Research, Estimates) target goes to $35 from $30.

Additionally, Deutsche Bank raised its 2003 and 2004 earnings-per-share estimates on 3M, citing strong sales of respiratory masks and the impact of the weak dollar on exports. Its 2003 forecast goes to $5.95 from $5.85, while the 2004 forecast goes to $6.70 from $6.60.<<

Then after yesterday's squeeze on GM we get this...

>>Bear Stearns cut its earnings-per-share forecast on General Motors (GM: Research, Estimates), another Dow stock.<<
